Why We Built This Site
Oregon gives the public access to many court records, but Multnomah County records do not all come from one office. Circuit court case files are maintained by the Trial Court Administrator and the Multnomah County Circuit Court Records Department. Marriage licenses and official county records are handled by the Multnomah County Clerk/Recorder. Jail and booking records route through the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, while criminal charging information may involve the District Attorney and the court case file.
The goal is to make those lines easier to see. A person looking for a Register of Actions entry, certified court copy, marriage copy, jail roster result, traffic citation option, or probate contact should be able to identify the right official channel before calling or visiting a Portland office.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not part of the Oregon Judicial Department, Multnomah County, the Circuit Court, the Sheriff's Office, the District Attorney, or the County Clerk/Recorder.
- We cannot file paperwork or submit records requests for visitors.
- We cannot issue certified court, marriage, divorce, probate, jail, or public-record copies.
- We cannot give legal advice or tell a person how to handle a pending case, warrant, citation, or custody matter.
- We cannot guarantee that a fee, phone number, portal screen, or office hour has not changed since the most recent review.
Official copies, seals, certifications, warrant confirmations, and case-status decisions must come from the government office that holds the record.
